Alex gave her kitchen a fresh new look with freestanding units, a big range cooker and a butler’s sink. The hanging rail is the perfect way to store all her handy utensils without taking up valuable worktop space.

Kitchen storage
One of the fab features of Alex's kitchen is the built-in kitchen cupboard it's great for storing all her glasses and crockery. She made the curtain at the bottom with some floral fabric to link in with her country kitchen theme.

Cosy living room
The feature wallpaper in Alex's living room makes a focal point of the chimney breast while the log burner keeps the room nice and toasty in winter. The lovely display cabinet in the alcove is perfect for storing all of Alex's keepsakes.

Loft conversion
A handy loft conversion had already been completed before Alex moved in and provides a fab extra bedroom and bathroom for when visitors come to stay. It also has a desk area which is ideal for working from home.

Traditional bathroom
Alex's bathroom has a traditional look with black and white flooring but she jazzed it up with some 'colour pop' photos that her fiancé Jason created in Photoshop.

Victorian terraced house
Here's the front of Stylist at Home Alex Pugh's Victorian terraced home. Not only has she given it a colourful revamp inside, she also tidied up the front garden and laid easy-care astro-turf for the front lawn.
