A wall of photos, maps and sketches in the living room creates a showcase of the homeowner’s life. The lampshade was found in a junk shop, and customised with fabric paint, a ribbon and a corsage. The sideboard is from Ikea, and the footstool is from TK Maxx. The pendants are the Norm 06 by Normann Copenhagen.
The wrought-iron door at the end of the passage is actually a security door, but it also helps light flow through to the darker hallway. Shelves above the door provide extra storage. The wallpaper above the dado rail is Darcy by Colefax & Fowler; below is Radnor Stripe by Cole & Son. The picture frames are from Ikea.
A small alcove has been turned into a study, with the space bridging two rooms and using colours and patterns from both. The Ikea desk has been glammed up using carved bone handles from Chloe Alberry.
