Grosvenor Square overtakes Eaton and Cadogan Square as London’s most valuable residential square
It’s official – if you want views over London’s largest and oldest garden square, it’s going to cost you £5,130 per square foot. Or, in other words, £18 million for the whole pad.
This week, this luxury Mayfair flat went on the market with a price tag that pushed Grosvenor Square into first place in the rankings of London’s most valuable residential square while simultaneously claiming the title of Mayfair’s most expensive apartment.
So what do you get for your sizable chunk of cash? Four bedrooms (the master suite has its own dressing room that’s bigger than most people’s entire home), a kitchen with every mod con you could wish for, a 43ft double reception room and, most importantly, panoramic views over Grosvenor Square.
However, once you’ve splashed out £18 million for the pad itself,
you’re still going to have to cough up an annual service charge of
£20,000 – that’s almost as much as the average UK salary!
seems like a lot for someone to clean your windows (even if there are loads
of them)! But if you’ve got mountains of money and want to live at
London’s hottest new address then be there or, ahem, be square. The property is on sale with estate agent Wetherell.
