Dunelm’s autumn 2026 homeware is already dropping – I got an early IRL first look and these are the 12 pieces to snap up fast
From £5 bowls to a Soho Home-style coffee table on a budget, these are my top picks
I know it sounds crazy to be talking about autumn in the middle of summer – especially given the heat we’ve been having across the UK lately. But Dunelm’s autumn 2026 collection of homewares is already dropping online. And the best pieces famously sell out even before the start of the new season – so to avoid disappointment, these are my 12 top picks available now I recommend snapping up fast.
Last week, I got an early first look at the new Dunelm autumn/winter collection ahead of its launch. I was able to see, feel and try some of the best bits of the range in person and I made a mental note - and also took pictures - of my favourite pieces. Many of these, as well as the newly debuted Dunelm x Yinka Ilori collaboration, have now been added to the new-in section of the website for eager shoppers like myself to peruse and bag asap.
Dunelm named chocolate brown as its colour of the season, confirming that the brown colour trend of the last few seasons is not going anywhere anytime soon. But earthy shades of green, terracotta and deep purple are also running throughout the collection, beautifully coming together in designs like this multi check tablecloth and matching napkins, both available now.
Some of my favourite pieces could also be described as budget-friendly alternatives for high-end pieces – whether it’s the Lavina tiled coffee table which has Soho Home written all over it, or these splatter-design enamel bowls that look so much like these ones from Toast. But they cost a fraction of the price, of course.
My top picks
Dunelm's compact dressing table is a popular budget alternative for the viral Urban Outfitters style. And the brand is coming out with new colours and prints – this cow-print version is my favourite.
Available in this ivory colourway, as well as duck egg blue, this rug caught my eye on several occasions during the Dunelm press preview. It's the perfect example of how Scandis might use pattern and colour.
Even though these pieces are from Dunelm’s autumn collection, that doesn’t mean you can’t start using them now – whether it’s by decorating your walls with some beautiful yet affordable art or adding some always needed storage to your bedroom or lounge with a storage stool.
