Keen sailors, the owners of this coastal home demolished a bungalow beside Bosham Creek in West Sussex and created their dream home in its footprint.
The house was designed to make the most out of its waterside location. Even on sunny December days, the owners can fold the sliding doors right back to take full advantage of the views.

The sun room
The house was designed by Martin Critchell Architects. The sofas and chairs are from Vincent Sheppard.

Kitchen
A large island dominates the kitchen-breakfast room, where black granite worktops contrast with bespoke cream-painted units.
The kitchen was done by Stephen Anthony Design, with units painted in Farrow & Ball's Old White, Oil Eggshell and a blind in Romo's Kesari in Granite.

Guest bedroom
Furnishings that are smart yet relaxed are the hallmark of the main guest bedroom.
Romo sells a wide range of fabrics for headboards and curtains.

En-suite bathroom
Neutral colours give the light-filled bathroom an elegant look.
The vanity unit and limestone top is from Stephen Anthony Design. Find a range of stone tiles at Stonehouse Tiles.

Downstairs cloakroom
The basin unit in the cloakroom provides a smart, boutique-hotel-style feel to the space.
