Take a look inside Taylor Swift’s luxury New York apartment

It's not everyday you get to take a look at a multi award-winning singer's New York pad...

Unless you’re cool enough to make Taylor Swift’s group of friends
(only supermodels, award-winning actresses and world-renowned DJs need apply), here is your only glimpse at Taylor’s private Tribeca pad.

Taylor bought the apartment in March 2014 for $19.95 million from Lord of the Rings director, Peter Jackson, but the transaction was so speedy and so quiet that photos of the apartment almost went amiss, until now.

Situated in New York’s uber cool and star-studded neighbourhood, Tribeca, the lofty apartment is made up of two large apartments making it a rare seven bedroom penthouse in one of the busiest cities in the world – one room of which is exclusively devoted to bestie, model Karlie Kloss – cool!

With the help of exposed timber rafters, bare brickwork and wooden floorboards, this pad boats less Hollywood glam but more British rustic appeal.

The giant kitchen is cased in bookmark marble (only the super swish for Swift) and boasts an industrial-sized oven that boyfriend Calvin Harris and model friends enjoy cooking round.

Moving through the emporium-sized apartment, multiple lounge areas and dining spaces are upholstered in similar rustic shades and tones that compliment the architecture.

You may even see a couple of grey fluff balls rolling around – these are her beloved cats Doctor Meredith Grey and Detective Olivia Benson who take up a lot of photo space on her Instagram page.

With a free form floor plan, this pad is the perfect socialising space which Taylor takes advantage of by hosting birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Judging by last year’s Christmas snaps, Taylor is due to spend some well deserved rest time in her abode surrounded by her closest friends and a giant tree or two this year.
