Brand new paint colours from Fired Earth

We love the subtle range of neutrals from the new Fired Earth paint collection

Who has the enviable job of naming new paint ranges? I love reading the new names each time a paint range comes out and the spring collection from Fired Earth doesn’t disappoint – Pumblechook, Sea Snail or Cleopatras Nose anyone?

More importantly, the colours don’t disappoint either. Whilst there are plenty of punchy bolds such as Elizabeth’s Parrot (bright green) and Roman Holiday (hot pink), the real winners for me are the soft and subtle range of neutrals. From crisp whites such as Apres Ski and Dover Cliffs to the soft, delicate grey of Peace and Quiet, the subtle palette is beautifully restrained.

Modernist White, pictured, is my favourite. Light and smoky, it has been used as an understated backdrop to vintage accessories in this image, but would work equally well as a clean and cool wall colour in a contemporary interior.
