Dino-mite! There’s goodies for young and old in South Ken

Livingetc found more than just 'dem bones' at the Natural History Museum's revamped shop

Last time Livingetc was at South Kensington’s Natural History Museum, we were accompanying Junior Livingetc on a school trip. Not surprisingly, visits to the Shop were deemed out of bounds.

Having survived the experience (Junior insisted on playing hide and seek in and around the exhibits), we were delighted to hear from the Museum Shop that it is upgrading its online presence, specifically with the aim of expanding the product line by more than 1,200 items.

Among the goodies on offer are these Skeleton stacking coffee cups, £60 for a set of four, and Large Oval Scrimshaw Whale plate, £30.

One of the Shop’s new services will be online Order Tracking, particularly useful if you opt for a larger piece, such as this handsome Map Print chest of drawers, £680.

And with a Create & Share Wish-list service, the Natural History Museum Shop makes gift buying a breeze.

Just don’t tell Junior, okay?
