Fancy eating Christmas dinner in a giant gingerbread house?

Spice up your Christmas meal by dining like a Lord in this ginormous gingerbread house

It may be 20 degrees outside in the Arizona desert, but inside The Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Ever fancied eating your way through a dining room? No, we don’t mean a tantalising three-course meal, we mean eating actual 18 ft Walls…

Chefs at The Ritz Carlton have built a mega gingerbread house in the lobby for guests to enjoy a private dining experience and we’re getting food-envy just looking at it.

Made up of a mountain load of ingredients including 856lbs of sugar, 250 eggs (more than six geese a-laying here!) and 100lbs of ginger, the result is a magnificent munch-worthy marvel.

Hundreds of iced bricks are adorned with a sprinkling of glittery candy, chiming bells hang from windows on the upper level and a giant wreath finishes the home that welcomes diners in for a once in a lifetime, edible experience.

As the fire crackles and spits beside the chocolate coloured armchairs and honey coated table, the rich aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger ooze from the walls and give off a delectable smell that excites diners the moment they step into the grand lobby.

For just £100 (and a flight out to Arizona) you can enjoy the privilege of hiring the ginger giantbread privately.

More Christmas cheer at The Ritz Carlton includes the Gingerbread House Family Experience where everyone can join in a master class and make houses to rival the private dining room, Breakfast with Santa where kids can enjoy a buffet with the big guy and a Solar Gazing Experience for undisturbed views of the sky over the desert.

Merry Christmas!
