5. Trimaran Stripe indoor/outdoor pouffe

American designer Annie Selke has recently launched the Fresh American collection for Dash & Albert, which includes this hardwearing Trimaran pouffe (above). It is a really versatile piece that can be used indoors and out, owing to the fact it has been UV-treated, so it can be scrubbed, bleached and cleaned with a hose. 6. Solar fabric

For outdoor furnishings with a difference, try this Solar fabric (above) from Extex. It has been printed with ink that contains photo-luminescent particles, which use solar energy to absorb light in the daytime and emit light when the surroundings are darkened. Basically, glow in the dark fabric! There are three colourways to choose from: Venus, Mars and Neptune, which each give off a slightly different-coloured light. According to Extex, its Solar fabrics will glow in the dark for several hours after just 5-30 minutes of exposure to lights or natural sunlight. The fabric is made from dyed acrylic and is suitable for upholstery and all soft furnishing applications. It is also soil, stain and water repellant.
